INGREDIENTS
220g chopped liver
360g ready rolled puff pastry
1 egg
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
METHOD
Pre-heat oven gas mark 7/220c/425f
Cut the pastry into roughly approximately 1 inch squares
Place a little chopped liver on one square and place another square on top
Press down the sides and using a fork press down all around the edge
Repeat this until all the knishes are made
Lightly beat an egg and the sesame seeds and brush over the top of each knish
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for approximately 10mins until puffed and golden
